how to ship a car to vietnam or china?

I don't know about China. But, I hear it costs A LOT of money to ship a car into Vietnam. Due to taxes and duties, I hear that a car will often end up costing double to triple the cost. So, I heard that a regular $30k Honda will cost about $100k in Vietnam.

As a side note, it goes to show you how rich some of the VC ppl are in Vietnam. Many of them are driving around Mercedes and BMW's when it's like triple the cost. Yet, probably 95% of its ppl are in poverty.....that's communism for you!

BMW aren't really that expensive overseas. It's only pricey here in the states because they are getting hit up from customs and import tax.
