ive been trying to do this but it tells me its only in new york and sanfran but im in queens,ny. anyone know why

lame was going to order tomorrow and now all gift cards got removed except 50$ ones

FYI - Walgreens doesn't honor the prices in the app. Placed an order in NYC and my valet called to tell me the order was going to be $10 more than originally planned. I canceled. Not cool, Walgreens.

From the eBay Now FAQ page:

So the delivery person pays for the item and then delivers it to you?

Anyone knows who is getting paid, I am sure the delivery person isn't taking money out of his/her pocket to pay for the item and then take it to you...

So who is the seller here? and I can't find any jobs for being a ebay now delivery person

Ebay is funding this, and it seems quite costly too. I actually just worked an Ebay Now promotion in San Francisco, (we ask people at bars to download the app and then we'll buy them a free drink).

Here is what I know to the best of my knowledge:

Ebay Now app users get $15 off their first purchase, minimum of $25 purchase.

First 3 shipments are free, then $5 afterwards.

Ebay Now agents pick up the item and try to deliver it to you within the hour, either at your house or at your location.

Operates from 9am-9pm I believe and they guarentee to deliver by the end of the day.

I've seen items such as washing machines and TV's as searchable, but it seems pretty damn amazing that they would ship you a washing machine the same day for free.

Ebay Now will be promoting at a bar in San Francisco tomorrow during happy hour, unfortunately I don't know the location of this bar.

Anyone know what the process is if you want to make a return or do an exchange?

It's only available in certain parts of NYC. From talking to the valet person, it's parts of Manhattan (Downtown and parts of Midtown), Downtown Brooklyn and Williamsburg, and LIC.

It's available on the Upper East Side.

Sadly I couldn't get LIC to work or I would have gotten my order in before this stupid $50 minimum per store. Not terribly impressed if they're trying to position this as a valet type service.
