They changed the price now to $129.99, so it won't matter for anyone reading this now.

But if you were able to get an order through in the 20 minutes before the price change... you wouldn't have any issues with them honoring the $119.99 ($79.99 AR) pricing because the rebate fulfillment center is separate from TigerDirect. They don't verify before-rebate pricing.... they only make sure you:
A) Have an Invoice with the current date
B) Have an Invoice with the correct product (Item #)
C) Have an original UPC code with the correct #.
D) Signed, dated registration form with correct postmark date (30 days from purchase date).

Pricing is irrelevant. All TigerDirect (TD-XXXX) rebates are fulfilled to the amount specified. It wouldn't even matter if the rebate exceeded the purchase price, you'd still get $40 back. I know, because I've filled out at least 5 or 6 deals where I made money using the rebate.
