Leatherman Super Tool 300 multi-tool, $39 + free 2-day S&H

I have this tool.

Pros: Great build quality so far (pretty light use for the last year). The knife is very sharp. Overall a very good tool besides..

Cons: Mine is pretty difficult to open / close. I figured it would loosen up over time and still hasn't. I eventually tried some 3 in 1 and that didn't work. I'll live with it. It is pretty large; not necessarily a bad thing, just something I didn't pay attention to before purchasing. My last multi-tool I carried in my pocket but with this I need to use the pouch or lose a pocket to it.

I know I listed more cons but overall it really is a good tool.

I guess it's important to have a good one in case your arm is trapped under a boulder in a canyon....

I paid $59 for this one 2 years ago to the day. FYI...this Leatherman is VERY heavy. Definitely not a EDC. I would opt for a lighter one for EDC. But for the car, campsite, office drawer or home, it can't be beat.

I was looking for a basic toolkit to keep in the car, and thought this "heavy-duty" multi-tool would be a more space-saving option.

Are the other Leatherman multi-tools on this site a good deal with the 30% off or does the SuperTool 300 stand out as the best deal by far? I'd like a multi-tool, but not one that big.

Is this a good deal?

Considering the lowest "used" one that sold on ebay went for $43.00 ... this is a great deal.
