Both of my upgrade rebates were approved so I thought I would post here for future reference.

1. I did all my rebates using online forms which has more stringent upgrade requirements discussed in this thread.
2. I only included Proof of Purchase Tabs and photocopies of Norton disc for the upgrade/competitive rebates.

Much thanks to TDMVP for this. Easiest $110 ever for participating in his two deal threads.

I also sent the photocopy of the Norton 2012 as the previous competitor's product ownership.

Sent all four forms on 1/22 with email proof of prior ownership from download. Got one email indicating they received the $60 IS purchase rebate form Sun 1/27, and another indicating they received the $45 PS upgrade form Sat 1/26. Both are indicating "Your rebate is valid and is scheduled for final processing."

I find it odd that they're sending out emails and processing the forms on Sat and Sun. Hopefully the other two rebate forms get acknowledged soon.

Help! On three of my rebates, I submitted 31 days instead of 30 dates after purchase and now all my rebates are coming back invalid. Is there a chance I could get them to manually approve, and what would be the best way to do it?

next time don't mail late, but say lost in mail+fax copy.

Thanks. I must have gotten lucky because the rep validated all 6 of my rebates (3 normal and 3 upgrade).

I got all 4 rebates (2 regular + 2 upgrade) on saturday 2/9/13

Does anyone know if the rebate card can be converted to a check?

This was the fastest turnaround for MY rebates: 28 days from mailbox to mailbox. 8 FAR rebates including money makers...oh, yeah

you might want to ask at some banks or credit unions, if they can remove funds from card and deposit in checking account. But no it cannot be converted.
