Rip-off Report: Those who bought "NEW" CBK-100 Cuisinart Breadmaker From 1SaleaDay

Do people here understand that marking this thread negatively will prevent others from reading this potentially helpful information? If what the OP says is true, this company should be ashamed.

They frequently sell used stuff as new.

I have had issues with 1sad in the past, and have posted such.
I no longer give them my business.

I stopped buying from them since they sell crap and it is usually overpriced for what you actually receive.

As to OP, I would suggest posting this information in the thread you linked. Otherwise, you will get negatives, since this is not a deal, but rather a rant.

I bought some junk once from them in the past. Not anymore. I recently got the same type of scenario through Amazon 3rd party seller, but Amazon fulfilled. They fixed it for me. I hope 1sale goes out for deception.

They are ok if you dont mind the fact they charge your creditcard before they even have the item and can only be contacted through their website contact form which is routinely down and when you finally get a message to them they dont respond within the two business days they say they will and often its more than 5 business days (and not on Fridays)


I ordered an item on Nov 15th (charged my card) on November 28th they responded telling me they didnt know when they were getting the item but expected it Nov 30th - Despite $39 in shipping they shipped it the cheapest shipping rate possible and i got the items December 15th. I suppose i should open them up to make sure they simply didnt repackage used items.

I purchased 3 of the Roku X 2 from them. I found after opening one that it does not do what I thought it would. I contacted them for an RMA they do not allow returns. Pretty much kick rocks. What online retailer doesn't offer a return policy??? I have disputed this purchase with my CC company.

A link to this thread should be posted in every 1saleaday SD wiki. But, unfortunately, we will continue to get FP after FP of their "deals".

Last thing i bought from them was claimed to be new, but wad used. when connecting them about it, they claimed that the "wear" was from skipping and that packaging is not always prefect. That's when i knew they were a BS merchant and refuse to do business with them. but SD staff seem to promote them s lit. Particularly Selma, he isn't staff, but still. Makes you wonder.

This is OT, since it's not about 1saleaday.

I do want to say that ripoffreport.com allows people to slander other people and companies, and there is basically nothing that one can do about it. I know several people who have had very serious lies posted about them on that site, and the site has a policy that they won't take anything down, ever, even if the person who posts it changes his/her mind.

I'm not saying anything about 1saleaday here -- maybe they deserve it -- but there's also not much to be said for a web site that appears quite high in Google rankings and thus allows people to ruin each other's reputations.

I posted in the linked thread, too, but posted here in case folks who bought the machine are no longer subscribed to that thread.

FYI - I disputed my charge and made them issue a call tag to pick up the POS Breadmaker they sent me. They did so, without complaining. Be assertive - you'll get your way.

For those who want to keep it - maybe buy a warranty from SquareTrade.
