Hot deal on Nissan LEAF 2012 lease uptp $10K off rebate from NMAC
This deal is going on everywhere in the US and if your commute is around 50-60 miles a day and you are looking for car that can be driven in HOV lanes (at least in CA) this is a great deal. This deal is for lease only (24 months or 36 months)
Sample deal in the west
24 month lease, 15k mi/year.
MSRP: 36,220
Purchase Price: $33,900
Rebate: $9,075
Fees: (Dealer fees, license, first month payment): 703.22
Residual: 20,283.20 (56%)
Money Factor: .00003 (~0.072%)

.55 Residual $21,128.00
If you lease it for 3 years then you can get $2500 in rebate from the state which makes the deal even hotter. You even get $1200 towards a home charger.(Blink)
other deals can be gotten like
LEAF SL: MSRP $38,415
Cap Cost: $35,800
Cap Reducation: ~$9,840 (with Nissan/Fed rebate + $1500 minus tax, license, gov fees)
Residual: 47%
Deposition fee: $395
39 months
39,000 miles
$1500 drive off.
$235/month (including tax).
You can get $2500 rebate plus the free charger rebate $1200
Another Bay Area deal
Cap Cost: $36,890
Cap Reduction: $10,661
Adj Cap Cost: $26,228
Residual: $18,614
36 months lease
12,000 miles per year
$2500 drive off.
Monthly payment: $231 including taxes
I think if you want a electric car, leasing is the best option on 2012 LEAF's
There are more than 1500 2012 LEAF's still available in the US so you really can drive a hard bargain
