Mods were alerted but I think it should stay to make people aware. It is easy to come up with such sites. You can transfer from one url to another smoothly within seconds, and have full-fledged sites that look legit when they are not.

My best advice is to cancel the order. There is way too much fraud out there, and google.com/products is full of questionable merchants. bing.com/shopping may be a better option for people new to internet shopping.

If it is too good to be true it is probably not true. In this case, to get such a discount from the manufacturer they needed to sell in volume. With all the warnings signs this is just another one. I have purchased things from sites with no online reviews, but I already know the signs of which there are thousands, and can limit risk.

If you are new to internet shopping, stick to well known sites. At a minimum, pay with PayPal with funds coming from credit card--not PP balance or bank. It is easier to dispute cc transactions; if PP doesn't agree with you simply contact your CC.

I did just let amazon know that there is a lower price out there. I put the price in as 191.00. If enough people do that, they consider price matching. It's way at the bottom of the page -

I'm glad I passed on the juicer.
I became suspicious when PayPal alerted me that I would be paying to an international account.

I just got off the phone with the mall in Orange County (Santa Ana) and confirmed thekitchendeal.com 's Contact Us C-136 address is fake.

When I was about to hang up they asked for the site info so they can try to take care of it. I doubt they have too much power but Westfield is one of the largest mall owners so it is possible they have some sway, but with fraud it is every man for himself.

Let it be a lesson OP. PayPal contacted you to protect you and themselves.

Just an update... I got the juicer. Thanks for all the words of caution. I will definitely be more careful in the future though.

I also received my juicer today--in a Macy's box! Whole thing is somewhat odd but happy that I received the juicer without any issues.

Why would someone do this? Is this a method of transferring funds overseas to bypass scrutiny?

So did they deliver the juicer from the kitchen deal site?

How long did it take for you to get your items? I placed an order January 7th and am still waiting. They supplied me with an USPS tracking # that is not valid. I contacted PayPal already. Luckily I chose the Bill Me Later payment option - so no funds have been paid yet. I usually order through Amazon, but the low price was too much of a temptation. Lesson learned!
