I called Amazon and they said they will honor the price adjustment within 7 days. I tell them I will cancel Amazon Prime Account, Amazon credit card, and I will not shop with them anymore. They said NO. I guess I have to do exactly what I told her.

Cancel Amazon Prime, Cancel Amazon credit card, will not shop at Amazon. I am sure my wife will be happy with my decisions.
Amazon is so stupid. They rather not refund me $15 than lose a customer forever.

Norpro makes a smaller pan for 11.45+shipping. The reviews are mixed. If you don't make aebleskiver all the time, this might be a better alternative.

Does anyone know if anyone other than Williams Sonoma carries the Ebelskiever mix? I usually make my own but wouldn't mind finding something less expensive than the WS. A friend got me one of these pans after we were in Solvang, CA. I don't mind using the kitchen space for it. We usually make them as often as waffles and I'm glad to hear there are other items you can make with them. I'll be checking that out.

Of course, as far as breakfast goodies go, nothing beats a Dutch Baby in my book!
World Market also has a mix. Haven't tried it yet since we make from scratch, but want to give it a shot. This morning for breakfast we had vanilla chai pancakes made by the same brand, very good!

Why don't you just order another pan at the lower price then return it using the old order...

The other pan I have used. Besides, who will pay for return shipping? If it's memory flash, a regular stamp or two will cost less than $1. This pan is heavy, how much will I get after deducting the shipping fee.

By the way, I bought this pan to make Vietnamese dish. The green been must be boiled until fully cooked.

These can also be used to make tasty flugendorfers and spicy little moofentooters.

No way..cant use it for eggs. The holes are slightly larger than a thumb.
Its says the holes are 3.25 inches wide and an inch deep. That's plenty of room for an average egg.

Obviously you keep the used pan and return the unused one.. your goal is to get a lower price not a new pan. Wink

I think Amazon pays the return shipping if you are not happy with a purchase?

Lodge Pro-logic? I think I'll wait for Lodge Digital 7.1 or Lodge DTS.

What are the reasons for you not to be happy with the purchase? Does it sound convincingly to them? If not, they will ask you to pay for shipping.

I wonder if I can make Takoyaki balls... was so hype when I saw the circle shapes.
No, unless you want huge balls. Just buy the "used" takoyaki pan from Amazon warehouse.

This thing is very one trick novelty. When I got it for xmas a few years back I made a couple batches. But then the novelty wore off and i never touched it again.

That's what I'm thinking. The price is great, but I can't justify using up precious kitchen storage space. Then again, I've never had a Aebleskiver.
I can see why it might be that way for some people, but I can actually think of quite a few things to do with that pan. It would be great for Yorkshire pudding, which believe it or not, I make about once a week at times. You could also use it for popovers, cream puffs, poached eggs, those cheese filled cornmeal pastries typical of Latin American cuisine . . . the list could go on.

But then again, I'm a foodie. I realize not everyone shares my fondness for Yorkshire pudding. Smilie
