They canceled my order! Must have been a pricing error. The said no longer in stock. That better be true cause I'm going to check.
That's the new Sears, in a nutshell... On black friday I purchased an item online, and just a few minutes later got an "out of stock, sorry" email, even though the purchase originally went through, and online inventory showed 7 in stock.... Checked again, yep, still showed stock. Got pissed, actually went into the store about 2 hours later when out shopping for other stuf- looked for 3 or 4 minutes, found the item- yep, 8 in stock (1 more than online showed!) Price wasn't as cheap as online though, but had brought print out of the price. Showed it to 2 managers who were joking and chatting off to the side, while 1 register was open with 50 people in it... she said, "oh, I wonder if that order this morning for this was yours? We couldn't find it, so we cancelled the order". She said as she opened up a register just for me (at least I didn't have to get at the end of the awful line) "people think we just have a warehouse of inventory, but the local store just goes to the shelf and looks for online local orders. If we're busy, we might not see it."
