Can anyone please recommend a site for buying GOOD, BRANDED prescription SUNGLASSES?

I've ordered from a half-dozen online retailers. Be very careful buying from Goggles4u. The first pair I ordered from them were "adult large", but waaayyyyyy too small for my head. They only fit my 8 yr old. I ordered a second pair that were listed as only being millimeters smaller than my current pair (yes, I measured). They, too, ended up inches smaller.

I would try eyebuydirect. They don't do freebies or dollar glasses, but around half price or retail or better. I don't know much about name brands, though, but it's worth a look.

Also worth mentioning: I bought 2 pairs of the color-transitioning lenses from Zenni, one for me and one for my son. They both started out nice, but ended up turning olive green and staying that way. I've also had problems keeping my Zenni pairs clean. They seemed to be dust magnets. Local eye doctor said they used the lowest-quality anti-glare coating they'd ever seen, and that was the cause of it.

Most recent pair from Firmoo is 1000 times better. I can even go a few days without having to wipe off the lenses.

I sent them a pair of sunglasses I had to be re-lensed. I just got an email saying they broke my framed and they would replace them with any $40 dollar pair of glasses or they would be able to give me $10 dollars for my frames. I have a receipt showing what I paid for the frames I sent in ($120) but they can care less.

Pretty terrible company. Im sad I had to learn the hard way.

you can only communicate via email and live chat too, so its really easy for them to just say sorry, but thats the policy.

The coupon code didn't work for me. "Invalid".

If you're not looking for the cheapest glasses, try for nice eyewear. They charge a flat $95 for frames + polycarbonate lenses and A/R coating with scratch resistant coating. They also have titanium frames for $145 with coatings. Free shipping and they have a "Try at home" program where they send you 5 frames free of charge (shipping pre-paid both ways) to try for 5 days and pick your favorite with no obligation to buy. They also give away a pair of glasses to someone in need for every pair sold. 6% cash back available as well if you belong to one of those sites.

Oh, and every time I called them I got a real live human being on the phone without pushing buttons from a menu and english was their first language.

*I'm just a happy customer and enjoyed my experience with Warby Parker*
