Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

This is what happened this morning. On the first bridge which is connected to the long bridge coming off LBI (so it would be the last bridge coming off) a big excavator with a big boom was on a big sturdy steel barge which was tied up to the cement post holding up the bridge. From the flooding and really high tides the last few days, the barge rubbed against the cement and the excavator fell off The rough water moltiion up and down also. So now this is at the bottom of the bay and no one can figure out yet how to get this extremely heavy and expensive piece of equipment out of there. and it is definitely toast. It was there to start getting sunken items out of the bay.

I know I shouldn't laugh but that would be a good candidate for a funny video

Has anyone been having problems with facebook? It logged me out and wouldnt let me back on unless I named pictures of people I know! I dont know what everyone on my friends list looks like. Then it told me I was reported for being a fake and had to prove I wasnt by doing a captcha. Someone turned me in for something about sharing. Dont understand it. Noticed I do have 1 less friend though.

Your part of the US is getting more than your share of problems. I know that you and Sam need that bay cleaned up. Hopefully the rain that is coming in the forecast won't make things ever worse.hug

Oh FFS LOL, I bet that sunk fast laugh out loud, How deep of water is it in? I'm really surprised they were allowed to tie off to a bridge pillar like that. If it was rough enough to buck off that excavator think about how much side force that barge created against the bridge pillar.
