Deal Details

Great deals on personal licenses! For example: ReSharper full license is $50, C# only is $37 (full price is $200/$150). For those unfamiliar these are developer tools

For a list of all tools on sale go to JetBrains [jetbrains.com]

ReSharper [jetbrains.com] $50/37 (.Net tool)
WebStorm [jetbrains.com] $12 (Javascript)
PHPStorm [jetbrains.com] $25 (PHP IDE and tools - includes all features of WebStorm)
IntelliJ IDEA [jetbrains.com] $50 (Java IDE/tools)

These are great prices...if you work with these languages I strongly suggest getting them

Deal ends tomorrow morning (6am EST if my math is correct)

Edit: Site is back up! Payments appear to be slow but going through

ok you guys convinced me. im in crunch time right now so might not have time to play with it and learn it until things slow down though.
I hate VB (and Im cheap) so I bought the C# edition Wink

also bought webstorm. hopefully it will make javascript suck less. probably wont put a dent in the suckage, but every bit helps in that awful 'programming' language.

I use both vb and c# so I have to buy the full edition. It only makes sense for 13 bucks more.

On top of that, call it professional courtesy, but I've been using the free version of intellij And I haven't upgraded my old version of resharper. I and was going to purchase the full boat of intellij at 100, But at 50 its a no brainer For intellij, and I'm getting my upgrade to resharper 7 for 50 bucks!

Thanks for the heads-up, OP. Awesome sale on some awesome products. I've only had experience with ReSharper (use it every day), but my experience with it is so positive and the reviews on the other products so good that I picked up a bunch of other stuff just because. I'm sure I'll get around to doing some Android development at which point IntelliJ will come in handy, and although I don't do much PHP these days it's always nice to have a good IDE available and I'm looking forward to comparing PhpStorm to PhpED which I already own. Basically I talked myself into buying everything Big Grin

Yes, you're right. Stick with what you like if you can not see the benefits of Idea. I prefer Idea and I'll buy it and I'll only have to pay the upgrade price not the full price for next year's.

I bought IntelliJ, Resharper, PHPStorm, and AppCode. I haven't done any Objectionable-C development yet, but from what I hear, XCode is horrible. I'm giving AppCode a try because it's totally worth 25 bucks.

Once again, if you are a professional software developer in .Net or Java, I cannot stress how good IntellJ and Resharper are. At this price, it is, in my opinion, a no-brainer. Skip the 2nd Starbucks for a a little less than a month and it will pay for these tools.

Thanks OP, TU and repped!

There is a community version of IntelliJ that is free. I've been using it for my own personal enrichment, and it is REALLY good. I HIGHLY advise trying it.

Hey did your card get charged yet or did you receive an email?

I bought ReSharper around noon today, and now I am about to buy WebStorm, IntelliJ, and WebStorm... but it looks like PhpStorm is webstorm and more... I am watching the videos now...

I think I might buy AppCode based on your recommendation or hearsay of XCode sucking... (I bought a Macbook and an IOS dev book last year and I got 15+ app ideas, but little time to develop, but that is going to start to change as I am going to discipline myself to create this stuff to make myself better... although I haven't touched PHP since college a few years ago...)

Would you recommend PHPStorm over WebStorm? I will watch the videos while I await your response, in case you are still up.

was thinking about it but I already have Sublime Text Editor, and I don't think any IDE can replace that.

For those wondering whether you should get Webstorm and/or PhpStorm in addition to IDEA.

"IntelliJ IDEA vs PhpStorm/WebStorm features

IntelliJ IDEA remains JetBrains' flagship product and IntelliJ IDEA 9+, provides full PHP support along with *all* other features of PhpStorm via bundled or downloadable plugins. The only thing missing is the simplified project setup."

Also, for those interested in RubyMine/PyCharm

"Other major language support (i.e. Python, Ruby)

Out of scope for PhpStorm/WebStorm. Please try other IntelliJ products RubyMine, PyCharm or IntelliJ IDEA + Python/Ruby plugin."

I got renewals for phpstorm, rubymine, and webstorm, but I've gotten nothing about resharper, dottrace, dotmemory, and dotcover. I did the checkouts separately and placed my .NET orders before my renewals. My card only shows the charge for the renewals right now. Their checkout system really sucks EEK!
