I got this email... Is is safe or is it a phishing scam?

I logged on paypal. I tried to this offer and it ended up wanting my credit card info and decided not to do it. They don't need to know that info.

I also got the email and it didn't ask for a cc number. Just had to choose the store and then set it up with my mobile number and choose a pin. Don't have any special account with pp either. Don't think the email link is generic or I would share it.

Otherwise, if you want to be on the safe side, you can go to ebay and search for "home depot". If you click the top hit which is the option to buy a home depot gift card through giftcardmall, chances are the offer will show up on the right side in an adchoice banner.

Repped for providing the link, worked for me! Did not have to do anything other than log into PayPal. Note you can only choose one of the four offers. I chose Home Depot.

started to set this up, then i start thinking activating my phone number to use paypal in store is just one more way i'm gonna get frauded down the road.... i wonder if you can just turn this link off later.
