Works like a charm. Kept my TV above fireplace and kept all other mm devices at a very convenient location in the living room. Looks spacious and nicer.

Works great to connect my PS3 and Samsung tuner to my LG PA70G projector across the room without running a 25 foot long HDMI cable that would cost more. I used an old HP laptop power brick to make it work. Well worth the effort.

Yes. It is like an invisible hdmi cable. Anything to transmits over your hdmi cable goes through the air.

I'm somewhat interested, but I see "IR Blaster" and I get worried, like I'm setting up a rube goldberg machine around my TV.

Ah, my mistake. It wouldn't be too obtrusive though, would it?

I mentioned this in the older thread, but a really good application for this would be a mounted projector.

kinda. the stock functionality with a compatible display allows you to point your devices remote at the TV and wirelessly send the IR back to your transmitter (base station where devices hookup) and then out an IR blaster back to the device you want to control. this is useful for people who are hiding their devices or where line of sight is not practical.

on a unit used on a display that is not compatible, since we are only interfacing with the power wires, no IR data is sent back to the devices. you will need some way to control your devices if you cant point the remote at them.

I missed this. Luckily someone had it on eBay Buy It Now for like .20 cheaper. I can't wait to try it out and have two TV's in the living room!
