When you taking the shielding off of the wire you look and find the thicker black and red wires. I know they all look very similar but there are two that are slightly larger than the other pair. You then take the rest of the wires you cut and individually put tape or glue over the exposed end so they do not cause interference later on. I personally used a 24v 1.5amp power supply from a HP printer for mine and so far it is working great several hours into use. I cut the ends off of both wires and then soldered them together and then used a hot glue gun over that to make sure they were secure. After that I slide some heat shrink over it and shrunk it down tight. This setup is working great at around a 40 foot straight shot line of sight setup for me. The only problem I am encountering is with whatever tv I put the reciever onto I get a great picture and sound but the picture always is off by about 1/2" from the right side of the screen leaving a black spot. Does anyone know of any way to fix this on the receivers end besides going into the tv settings and moving it?

Can you please provide more detailed, how you have connected receiver with Projector? If you have used old HP laptop power brick, what are the cable you have connected with receiver?

You just plug it into the HDMI port with the supplied HDMI cable.

I've been messing around with mine for two days and have yet to get it to work completely correct. At first I could only get picture (a good quality pic with component input from Dish 722k receiver). I then realized I had the audio hooked up to the wrong output so I switched then, when powered back up I got only audio no picture. The only way I could get it to work was to use Hdmi from 722k to the transmitter but then I cant use the hdmi out for my main TV. So I'm going to play around with it some more and hope I get it figured out. FYI I used at 12V 2A power supply ($6.99 on amazon) and that seems to work to power the receiver.
