Great. Just bought the Roadrunner Deluxe bag at GC last night. Anyone know if the MF bag is comparable? I can't find how thick the padding (in MM) is on the RR. But they have two versions, and I thought maybe the normal version had 10mm padding and deluxe 20mm?

Any help would be appreciated.. spent $53 on the other bag.. but mostly bc someone insisted to buy that specific bag.

Bought a guitar stand a while back for $5, a couple weeks later, Musician's Friend double charged to my CC. It could be just an isolated incident, but buyer beware!!

I'm in the opposite camp. No sales tax in my state, usually free shipping, and they ship pretty fast. I can't recall any drama over an order, ever. Including a few returns. And if you call in sometimes those hippies will work with you on a deal.

They've been owned by Guitar Center for years now, which is just about the worst thing ever, but so far I haven't seen anything from MF to put me off. Sweetwater however gets a little carried away with the follow-up calls, and the local shops around here are borderline scams even before the sales tax.

If there's one thing to take issue with it's when they have a store-wise X-percent off deal, but the fine print excludes basically every brand you'd possibly be buying.
