These are awesome if you have young babies, or just need a little white noise to help yourself sleep. Two speeds. I have two of these for my 9 month old's nursery.

4.5/5 stars average rating with over 2200 reviews.

For anyone that uses a fan or anything else for white noise, I recommend these. They work great. I used a fan from a young age up until a few months ago (20+ years) when I got one of these and it worked immediately for me.

thanks OP & holyhatred. i have been using a vornado primarily to shield from ambient noise. i hope this works as well or better and saves some electricity.

I own one. This thing is the baby whisperer. My 2 year old now waits to be woken up in the morning.
Amazing results!

I like these a lot. I have two of them. Does a great job of drowning out most surrounding noises.

I'm getting this to see if it can help my mom sleep when my upstairs neighbor starts feeling like bowling (sure sounds like it) at 8:00 AM.

This is a solid deal on a unique piece of equipment. $55 is the going rate on these and they are rarely discounted. If you sleep better when a fan is running, this is for you. These are also like a miracle for new parents with newborns who are fussy sleepers.

I measured the power usage with my kill-a-watt power meter and this uses ~7 Watts in the low mode, and ~20 Watts in the higher mode. Even the low speed drowns out noise pretty well.

I'm pretty sure that this is more efficient than running a vornado fan for noise.

Nice. Recently bought the single speed for $36 as a lightning deal. I've been putting it beneath a chair to mute it a bit. Might like the lower speed for most nights and reserve the higher speed for when the neighbors party.

Ordered one. Thanks, OP! Don't forget 4% cashback from e-b-a-t-e-s for Personal Care products!! I'm hoping this helps my mom with her tinnitus (ringing in her ears)...

Will one of these fill a room at a pretty loud volume or do you need two?

It would be nice if it had a timer to turn off so you don't sleep through an alarm.

is there a difference between owning one of these units and playing white noise from your laptop at night?
