I have one of these but I don't use it. At least for me, I found it to have compatibility issues with Windows 7.

I initially had a problem with Windows 7, where the OS thought this was a bluetooth device; I was able to replicate this problem on 4 different Win7 installation. All you need to do it go into the Device Manager, change the driver to "Generic USB Hub", and it works flawlessly as described above.
I wish this charged iPads. Kind of annoying not being able to sync and charge my iPad at the same time. WiFi Sync doesn't seem to work properly on my network.
I've seen some newer USB hubs that have a newer spec USB port that can charge the iPad mini faster than normal but still not as fast as with just the wall power, but there seems to be other problems with the hub. Also they have USB hubs with special iPad only charging ports, but I forget while I didn't buy them. Probably some bad reviews or high price.
