To all the people who mentioned "Take 5" do you really mean the "Take Classic"? I'm guessing you are but wanted to make sure since the Take 5 were an older version on the Take Classic

Parts Express has Dayton, Audiosource, and BIC in-wall and ceiling speakers for reasonable prices. I don't have experience with any of the in-wall speakers but I have used Dayton raw drivers for a lot of projects and I've found that even the cheap Dayton drivers, when built with a proper enclosure and crossover, sound better than a lot of expensive name-brand speakers (having worked in the business I've properly auditioned a lot of speakers). And the more expensive Dayton Reference Series drivers which I use in my home system outperform just about everything at many times the price.

I could not get the free shipping to show up either. There is an asterisk next to free shipping that states "Oversized orders that require delivery by truck do not qualify". I hardly think a micro speaker system would qualify as oversized.

Bit anyway as I did not want $7 to cost me the deal.

This is a crazy deal, considering the 5.1 set (with a subwoofer) was MSRP $1000 when they first came out.

I had to throw my wallet across the room so I wouldn't buy these. I have a set of Promedia 2.1 for my computer and love them. These would have made great rear surrounds when I did my bedroom theater a few years ago. Only for rears though, not sure how they'd fare with my 12" sub. My room is only 10x11 so these with an 8" probably would be great for most users.

I mentioned my Promedias because Klipsch has been around for a LONG time with small speakers that sound amazing. Obviously if you want to spend the money you can get a more balanced sound but for $100 this is crazy.
