Well, I wouldn't put too much stock in that inflated $1000 msrp or wherever he got that number. I doubt anyone ever paid $1000 for the Micros.

Also the Micros only have 2.5 inch "woofers", if you could call them that. They seem well regarded for the size - keep that "size" qualifier in mind. You think a little speaker with one 2.5" driver is going to best significantly larger speakers like the Jamos?

The Micros seem like very nice speakers - for people who need small speakers due to space/aesthetic considerations. For the Micros, you will probably want a good sub that can handle a higher crossover point without getting muddy.
