Lego The Hobbit and LOTR Bundles @ Walmart.com

Saw this while I bought couple Hobbit sets from Amazon (as I had a ton of Amazon credit from the BB GC deal). Amazon has matched these prices but not the deal. Basically buy any of the 5 new Hobbit sets and you get Riddles for the Ring for free. Nice deal as 4 of the 5 sets are on sale. I'm one of the fools that bought most of these sets early so I have all of them now. Deal depends on your tax for Walmart or Amazon.

I don't understand the "deal".

For e.g. the spider set is coming to $22 in this bundle offer.

Does the LEGO Hobbit Riddles for The Ring Play Set come as free in this "Bundle".

What is the bundle deal. I don't get it.

Had bought the spider set for $15 from k-mart in another bundle deal.



The riddles set is $8.97 regularly at Walmart [walmart.com] and at $9.97 as part of the bundle. So what is extra coming in the bundle?

Take the curent walmart price for the other set and deduct about $10 and that is the price being added. A couple options are pretty good prices, especially since a few sets are brand new. Like previous poster said it's liek getting riddle of the Rings for free, but since some sets are already discounted, you can do pretty well.

Retail at Shop@Lego is $109.98 total savings is about 32%

Attack on weathertop is another good deal with a total of $41.97

I fell victim to this "bundle" last week. You do not get Riddle for the Ring free. Read it carefully, it says this is for one set. You start with a $9.99 base (Riddle for the Ring), however if you want something different you are just adding extra money to the $9.99 base but you aren't still getting Riddle for the Ring. This is one of the most confusing things I've seen and can't believe they haven't had more people complain about it being listed as a "bundle." However some of these prices aren't bad for the listed sets despite the confusion.

Good prices, but I would roll with Amazon and the price match.

Sure. As stated, this is not a bundle, just good prices. However, Amazon is matching them. For instance, Amazon has Escape from Mirkwood Spiders for $21.97

Attack on Weathertop seems OOS
Unexpected Gathering seems OOS as well. So you may have to bite on the Walmart deal after all for those sets.

Thanks for pointing this out. I read carefully and notice it is NOT a bundle. Basically, you get the orginal retail price when adding the so-called 2nd set. The thumbnail picture of Riddle for the Ring is very misleading...it just represent the Hobbitsseries..and you dont get that set. Be aware!
