I was at Best Buy when I first decided to find out why everyone likes Beats, and I couldn't stand them. Then I tried the Soul and was blown away, they sound way better. Now there are some audio technica and sennheisers that sound just as good but dont look as nice. But for this price point, I dont think you can beat it.
I dont want to hear these are junk. All i want to know from.people who have used the Streets vs Beats Studios which one is better?
Thanks for help
I have listened to both using the same source and personally couldn't tell a difference in sound, or at least couldn't say one was specifically better than the other. Comfort is a different story, Streets being better for me as I prefer over the ear.
A note: The reason people are commenting with "junk" is because you are paying for a rappers name, not for quality sound or build. This isn't an unfounded opinion (as most things are around SD). Go to any honest audiophile website and you'll find the same.
If being seen wearing rap-phones is your goal, you may as well buy knock-offs. Save some cash, sounds ... well ... if you're buying these you don't care or know the difference and still get the "hey, look at me" factor.
(My use of "you" and "you're" isn't a specifically targeted @ nccfball. No offense intended.)
If you buy these you are paying for $10 headphones in a candy-coated shell.
Yes, some of them are stylish and trendy, but hell if you give a damn about sound, you'd best be buying a Bose or any speaker/headphone company that actually employs sound engineers.
These headphones come straight from a factory in China where they are then fitted into build-to-order casings. The sound quality is generic- and nothing to harp about- as Gizmodo [gizmodo.com]aptly puts it:
How do they sound? Great. How great? Really great. What does that mean? Not a whole lot. They, along with every other headphone on the planet, claim a frequency response of 20hz to 20kHz: from beyond the range of human hearing to beyond the range of human hearing. Is every headphone that claims this range actually able to produce it? Certainly not. Does it even matter? Certainly not. Why? Because that figure doesn't define sound quality, and you can't tell the difference anyway; all you hear is Dr. Dre perched on your shoulder telling you to Like his facebook page.
Blah blah blah blah thumping bass. Punchy midrange. Crystal clear highs. Warm sound. Some shit about female vocals."
