I really wish they would just activate on Steam. I know I won't ever go back to playing this if it's not on my Steam library..

You should make an ubishop account and see if they send you a coupon. They sent out mystery coupons for anywhere from 30% up to 100% off one game. I'm not going to say how much I ended up paying for AC3 to avoid rubbing it in anyone's faces, but worth a look before going for this deal.

Meanwhile, Assassin's Creed 3 is floating on fleabay for about $20. Not sure if its the same as this one.

yeah the coupon code for AS3 on ebay is for the uplay version. I bought one advertised as steam, but when I got it it was uplay...

if you buy it on steam, you run both steam and uplay so it's less ideal to get this game on steam |
