Over the past 18 moths, I ate a nearly 50% fat diet, most of it saturated animal fat, lost 80 pounds and went from all bad labs to all good labs. I used to take 17 different pills a day, now I take none. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/03...d=all&_r=0 "While, back then, the evidence merely failed to demonstrate that salt was harmful, the evidence from studies published over the past two years actually suggests that restricting how much salt we eat can increase our likelihood of dying prematurely. Put simply, the possibility has been raised that if we were to eat as little salt as the U.S.D.A. and the C.D.C. recommend, we’d be harming rather than helping ourselves." http://tierneylab.blogs.nytimes.c...rated-fat/ "Why does the A.H.A. continue to insist that saturated fat should be avoided, if these trials repeatedly show that high saturated fat diets lead to better cholesterol profiles than low-saturated fat diets? And how many of these trials have to be done before the National Institutes of Health or some other august institution in this business re-assesses this question? After all, the reason the food guide pyramid suggests we eat things like butter and lard and meats sparingly (and puts them high up in the pyramid) is that they contain saturated fat. This is also the reason that the A.H.A. wants to lower even further what’s considered the safe limit for saturated fats in the diet." I really like this chart...our current food guidelines are killing us! http://www.lewrockwell.com/miller...besity.gif So on a whopper, the bad actors are the white bread bun and the mayo made from gmo industrial seed oils. The good stuff is the meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato. But eating one once or twice a week, as long as you keep your total calorie count low...won't hurt your arteries a bit. Might help them. If you evaluate the nutritional studies like Intersalt and the Lipid Theory, it becomes quickly obvious that these folks had a destination they wanted to arrive at (for whatever reason) and they omitted data and took liberties with the results to get there. Intersalt deleted 40% of the patient data because those people ate a lot of salt and didn't have problems with it, so the study operators presumed they must be lying. The Lipid Theory took 22 countries worth of data and omitted 17, because the data from those 17 were at odds with the conclusion that fat is bad for you. When you finally come to the conclusion that 99% of what you're being told is completely unsupported BS, just eat simple whole foods like we did 100 years ago. If you have to grind it, mill it, cook it for an hour to make it palatable or its mostly eaten by the poor, don't eat it. Its amazing how satiating a diet of eggs, bacon, sausage, red meat, poultry with crispy skin on it and stuff covered with butter and cooked in lard can be.

Once you mix your own salad dressing with organic EVOO and see it costs $.75-1.00 per serving, you'll know why the entire supermarket dressing aisle should just be illegal, nothing in there more than $4, and nothing healthy could be produced for less than $7~10 a bottle Last edited by parasitius; 12-21-2012 at 08:13 AM.. |

Being a Slick dealer means I find these deals frequently. I have tried the "print then uninstall" method once or twice. Then I realized it is nice to be able to get these type of coupons whenever they come up, and also that they let you print two. If it was for one deal that would be different. This does not run in the background or at startup. I have given out personal info which invites spam so often this is no where near as intrusive. Thank you OP.
Edit...Speaking of which- just got this deal:http://slickdeals.net/f/5734234-R...-2-Gallons Last edited by c2nah777; 12-22-2012 at 09:22 AM.. If you like a post, or get some help or useful information, give out a Rep! It's free and easy. Click on the green square by their user name.
