Add software and resell for even better deal
You can add applecare for $95 and resell for twice that on eBay. Also available - an additional combo pack of Bento and Paralells for $28.99 that you ought to be able to clear $45 for after fees, so with one thing and another, you can claim back another $100 or so off the total cost if you're prepared to resell.

I have the 2011 model of this and it is still running pretty good. I only wish the battery would last longer. I probably get about 4-5hrs. at best. I would like to know if anyone has attempted to upgrade the hard drive on this unit and if so, what brand works best.
