I read in some states sales tax on this phone is based on the price of the phone being $699 can anyone confirm and which states?

Awesome I was just able to get Best Buy to price match the Amazon Wireless Price of $0.01.
The first best buy I went to here in Los Angeles said they don't price match Amazon or wireless phones in general so I left and went to another one and they young assistant at the counter was like WTF $0.01 for a Samsung Galaxy 3? Then he said do you have a printed advertisement with you and I showed him my print out then he double checked Amazon Wireless to see if they have it in stock and bam they did for $0.01 about 4 employees were there trying to figure out whether to put it through or not so they called someone higher up to approve it. And they were all shocked I just walked away with a Brand New Sprint Samsung Galaxy 3 for $0.01 followed by the $56.80 California tax on $699.99.
Either way I got lucky that they were willing to do the price match so anybody else willing to drive and give it a chance I think it's worth it.

I'm going to root this thing and get Wifi Tether and start putting this 4g LTE to use.

Good Bye Verizon I will not miss how you over charged me even with my employee 20% discount you were still expensive, and also shame on you Verizon you for taking away unlimited data for everybody if we upgrade out phones.

Hello Sprint, I am looking forward to having a great new year with you especially since your adding 4g LTE towers all over the nation and still provide unlimited data to new and existing customers, and allow me to get an 18% discount through my employer.

WOW I love this Samsung Galaxy 3 so many things about it that make me happy.

Thanks Op! First Best Buy I tried gave me a bs excuse not to pricematch but the second one gave me the new activation price for an upgrade. It doesn't hurt to try different stores.

I tried ordering from sprint website and it still shows $10 premium data fee per line ($29.99 per line includes $10 data fee.)

Not sure if newer smart phones are capable of roaming, but I have been with Sprint since 2007 (employee pricing for everyone promo aka SERO), and I always enable roaming on my phone when I get a new one from them. This way, when there is a stronger Verizon signal, it will automatically hop onto Verizon tower. I have SERO plan, so roaming is included.

I would think that new phones and new plans also offer roaming.
