This is a tool that I have found useful for converting DRM files. It doesn't "remove" the DRM so there is nothing illegal about it - more like it just makes a recording. I like this one better than other similar programs because the available formats are great and it plays well with the DRM programs. I use it for audio files rather than video.

Update: I found it just below the Preferences.

This is fantastic if only for 1 reason:

HW encoding rocks!

I was able to encode movies (from Mpeg2/flv etc) to H264/mp4 in just minutes (probably limited by disk speeds !!!).

This is on a 4 core Core i5 with HD3000 (quicksync)

H264/handbrake is perhaps still the reference, but speeds like this are insane and open up a whole lot of possibilities.

BTW, what other converters etc. support HW encoding well?

PS: Output quality in HW accelerated mode does seem to be sub-par. Need to play around more. maybe just quicksync limitation.
