Optimum Nutrition Performance Whey Isolate Protein 4.5 lb Vanilla coming to Costco in Jan - $12 off from 1/2/13 - 1/27/13

Lots of ON protein fans on here - good news because ON prices have been through the roof this year. The new Costco coupon book for January shows Costco will begin carrying ON Performance Whey Isolate, 4.5 lbs in vanilla. Item # will be 705085. From 1/2/13 to 1/27/13 there will be a $12 off coupon, limit 2. Have not been able to price yet, but usually Costco's prices are fair and the $12 off per tub should make this pretty slick for ON Cool

This is supposed to be a Costco exclusive per their mag. 30g protein per serving / 55 servings per tub.

i got mine from costco for $35

$45 IS NOT A SLICK DEAL. Costco sell this for $57. So after coupon ends up at $10 per pound. Not slick.On Amazon.com it is $52.99 for 5 pounds or $10.60 per pound.

^thats not even the same protein powder. This powder is a blend between whey concentrate and whey isolate (the high quality stuff). The Costco one is pure whey isolate.

edit 1/02/13: The ingredients at Costco is all isolate (concentrate is not listed in the ingredients).

edit 1/8: If y'all don't know, whey isolate is extremely high quality whey protein which is absorbed more quickly. More info here: http://www.2buildmusclefast.com/2...otein.html

dymatize 10lb for $72 is the best ongoing deal. Waiting for another vitashop deal is probably the best bet. VPS syngex is great stuff if you can catch it on sale there.

what do the opinions of a bunch of anonymous people on the internet matter? people who make recommendations on this sort of thing should post pics of their physiques to back up their claims. otherwise, if one is scouring the hot deals forums sittin on one's behind all day - myself included - they're most likely a slovenly hog, no matter what they drink.

having said that, i've been drinking isopure nearly every day for the past 5 years and no ill effects yet.
