Maybe it's me, but neither ON or Cytosport mix nearly as well in water or hot coffee as Dymatize Elite Isolate. Just came across an old post with a $27 price tag on the 6 lb Cytosport at Costco. Why are prices up so d$@$ much?

So Gold Standard Whey is this: http://www.optimumnutrition.com/p...fcb4332d7b 24G protein per serving, faster digestion. Performance Whey is this: http://www.optimumnutrition.com/p...p-279.html 22G protein per serving, slower digestion than Gold. This CostCo Performance Whey has 30G protein per serving, similar to Platinum Ultra Whey, but called "Performance"... very interesting. Would like to understand where it sits within the ON protein hierarchy. cheap, fast, good - pick any two.

this is 100% isolate. don't think you're gonna find another major brand out there that's 100% isolate for this price. |

BTW, many may already know this, but all Costco coupons have the same barcode, so you can go back on a second visit and get more with a different coupon (or take a coupon book off the customer service desk).
This is true for all Costco "coupon" items. |

Milk prices are somewhat subsidized by the government, somewhat by grocery stores and major dairies that skim (pun intended) their margins on milk to get your business. So the cost increases are shifted onto milk by-products like whey protein, cottage cheese, sour cream etc. etc. |
