I bought 2 but probably won't buy more. I usually either buy Gold Standard or Hydrowhey Platinum in french vanilla. This Performance Whey Isolate has a pretty good nutritional profile but don't like the taste or how it mixes.

IMHO, the Performance Whey is almost exactly the same a GNC Wheybolic Extreme, both being pretty powdery when dry and having a gritty mix when mixed in water. The Gold Standard and especially the Hydrowhey are more instantized and have a thicker consistency. The taste is personal preference and I like the french vanilla much better than regular vanilla.

At roughly the same cost as Gold Standard for me when on sale or with discounts, I'll go with the Gold Standard since I'll sacrifice on the nutritional profile for my preferred mixability and taste

Personally, I'd avoid this stuff. Flavor is meh, quality is decent, although nothing special, and if you're lactose intolerant, fuggedaboudit. You should always be just a little suspicious if when you see stuff being sold by the truckload, as is the case with these containers. A lot for a little, right? I've tried a TON of protein supplements over the years, and easily the best I've ever found is the stuff from Biochem, but it ain't cheap. I use the natural flavor, but the vanilla tastes even better. It's 100% isolate, is lactose free, wheat and gluten free, contains no sugars, mixes extremely well in smoothies or just water or milk. Just plain excellent. I always watch out for sales because it's expensive. Trust me, it's the best, but don't take my word for it.

Not a good deal. 55 servings @ $47. I have a tub of 77 services Strawberry Banana @ $53.

I bought the costco one anyway just to try it - it is disgusting in milk. The ON Gold Standard stuff is delicious in milk. Not sure where they failed here, but maybe I just don't like Vanilla vs Strawberry Banana.

I'll keep this Costco ON stuff @ work so I can load up @ work, but won't be buying it again.
