Yes, the UPC doesn't match the rebate registration form. The product page indicated it had UPC: 013964025910 and the one that came was 013964025903. I'm going to take a shot and send in my rebates. I have a copy of the product page that says the UPC was supposed to be 013964025910, it's not our fault TigerDirect shipped us one with a different UPC. |

I also had the alternate UPC code ending in 03. Their email said I was denied because "I did not submit a UPC", so I called into their 800 number. You have to say "other" and then "representative" to get an operator.
After talking to a rep, she found that I did submit a UPC, however it didn't match up with the requirement. She said that there was nothing she can do since the UPC does not match and she confirmed with a supervisor. I told her that my "cousin" had the same problem with TigerDirect sending them the same product with UPC ending in 03, but they called in and had their rebate "approved". I kindly asked if she can check against any other rebates with offer TD-8067 and she noticed many of them with UPC ending in 03 were approved. She added notes to my claim, saved them. Then went back and approved it, then it went through. I asked what may have allowed others to be approved, she said there were nothing she can ascertain. However she said that the fact that I did indeed submit a UPC (when my denied claim email stated that I didn't), fulfilled the requirement for the rebate. The key is to be really nice. Have the rep side with you and get the rebate approved. It's too easy to get upset and be argumentative, so avoid that at all costs. Good luck! Last edited by lex2; 01-10-2013 at 12:20 PM.. |

Also received an email stating that my rebate was approved even though it was the incorrect UPC. When I submitted I wrote on the rebate form the circumstances in regards to the UPC being different. I also called TD prior to submitted and they stated to submit that way and if it was denied to again contact TD to get it approved. TD stated that they now have a policy in place guaranteeing your rebate but it will just take a little longer. So if you have any problems when you contact the rebate processing company just contact TD. I have had to contact both places and each time they have been very understanding and taken care of any issues. Have always had rebates approved by calling after any denials. Just don't be a ****.

After getting it, I emailed customer support stating what the issue was and after 2 days they replied saying send in another copy of the upc and a copy of the invoice. ![]() Instead of playing cat and mouse on email I called the customer service number 1-800-286-9146 and talked with them. I told the customer service representative I had talked to tiger direct and they told me of the switch, and to call the rebate company to have it approved, and if they would not do it to call tiger direct back. She said all that was true and she would go ahead and approve the UPC, however for this rebate they had to have a Invoice copy not the Packing Slip that I sent in. She was even nice enough to contact Tiger Direct and have a copy sent straight to them, and she would have it all approved in 1 - 3 business days. ![]() Funny story… During our conversation we talked about rude customers and people yelling at them for reasons beyond their control. She said if someone calls in and is extremely nice and funny that she'll be more than happy to do everything she can to approve their rebate, but if they call screaming, cussing, etc. that she'll basically give them a very very hard time.
