I didn't buy the tv in this deal, but I bought a ton of stuff from dozens of different discover cashback partners and got zippo. No emails, no cash back. Doesn't even say much about it on my statements, just in the totals section...no transactions.

Of course, every deal involved the use of a coupon, which is supposed to invalidate the cash back, but this would be the very first time any CC company actually enforced that.

My discover card is in little pieces in the garbage can. I'll take the lesser cash back sites and credit card cash back that I'll actually receive.

I also thought I often didn't get the shopdiscover cashback but printed out my last 6 months of statements online and as far as I can tell I did get everything but 3 purchases. The problem was the cashback often doesn't show for a month or two so you really have to keep a list and then check every few months. They do list on your online statement exactly how much cashback you've earned for which purchase in a little window.

I called to complain about not getting the TV credit and my 3 other missing transactions on the 15th. Two of them they credited on the spot. The other two they (including the TV) were much more recent and they saiid they would open an investigation but it looked like nothing was in process for it. I called back yesterday and said I never heard anything back and they issued me the credit over the phone for my last two missing cashbacks. This included the 10% on the TV.

Also, I've never lost out on a cashback because of a coupon being used. I even used a $50 off $400 coupon when buying this TV.

I've also never not gotten my cashback when using a coupon. How would discover know anyways is discover really sent detailed info from merchants? Another thing is that it appears that for all the other Discover Cashback Promos besides ShopDiscover it appears that the entire value charged including tax is included in calculations for cashback.

+ on this one there was no "coupon" per se... Rewards after the fact...

Interesting that Sears auto posted vs. kmart...

Received a secure message from Discover that they were denying the cashback through Kmart because the sale was credited to another publisher (they didn't say who, but I'm betting SWYR, since I had to call for the bonus points). I've sent them a message inquiring how to appeal the determination.

Credited back to my debit, so maybe i'll still get the Disc. 10%. Sounds like they're declining shopdiscover thru secure message?better luck calling?

Also any cheaper prices on this lately than Best Buy, has it for $52 cheaper.

Finally got the cashback. Had to open a case and I got an email the other day saying that it'll post on my next statement.

All said and done, deal was a pain in the ass, but I really do like the TV and think I got a pretty good deal on it. Good luck to all the others in getting the cashback.

Got a "Everywhere Else" cashback of $ 50.00. No email but sounds about right... finally.
