BTW, I know people still paying off their school bills a decade later (large debt from dental, med schools), you don't know need to clear them up before you start moving on. Opening another credit card is nothing, heck if you got a decent job you can apply for a morgage while still carrying your student loans. Last edited by Slickdeezee; 12-22-2012 at 07:38 PM.. |

Lots of good $350-$500 huge TVs on slickdeals front page. |

A lot of people do this to consolidate gift cards after Christmas to something that doesn't have service fees or expiration (Amazon gift cards too.) Problem solved! |

I think Costco just had the 55GT50 for 1199...which is their second-best panel. VT is top, then GT, ST, and the rest fall somewhat significantly below. UT is probably a similar tv, but with a bit lesser picture quality, less quality glass (maybe more reflective), less bells and whistles, less options for adjustments in menus, etc. But if the GT was 1199...then the ST will prob be selling for 999 or lower very soon, and that tv got the most stellar professional review ive ever read (im a tv geek). Not sure if it was consumer rpts, cnet, engadget, but the pro reviewer said they had to recalculate the entire comparison because the affordability of the ST for the quality (tested professionally on many levels) was unlike anything they've ever seen. Either way, I wouldn't be surprised if the last week of January features the 55ST around 799-899, and the 55UT prob closer to 599. Not that Im suggesting, but you can always get the UT now to see if you adore it, enjoy your party, and perhaps return it and wait for the ST to go on sale......I've never done that, but I might if I needed to.... |

It's definitely subjective, but whatever makes somebody the most happy with the least expense should be top choice. |

The Costco in my area, they have one coupon taped next to the checkout clerk, so he/she will scan it before/after checkout. You can always get a coupon booklet from membership area. Peace, San Marino

Did you seriously just advocate that I open another credit card to shop at Costco? ![]() BTW I have a mortgage and a car payment on top of a professional degree I'm paying for. I'm not opening another credit card b/c this one has no set limit --just like Amex. Thank you. I'm glad that there is some sense left on slickdeals. |
