Any chance you can throw up a receipt scan?

I got this last time they had it for $699 and had Best Buy price match. It's an amazingly beautiful TV and I couldn't tell a big difference with the picture of the 7600 model. I would not listen to the CNET reviews on this TV, they stated the ST50 Panasonic plasma was better but the Best Buy I went to had the 6700, ST50, and the Samsung 6500 all next to each other and with whatever settings they had this was the best in my opinion and the Panasonic especially looked dull and not very bright.

I was literally about to pull the trigger on the UT50 at Amazon and then this comes through....hopefully Amazon will match since I've got like $500 in GCs, and more importantly, this guy supposedly works fantastically with Plex!

I live in Wisconsin and closest fry's is 4 hrs from here. Is there any way I can get receipt scan? So that we can have price match.

BestBuy doesn't carry the ST series in store. Its special order. They have the UT50. if they are a Magnolia dealer, they also carry the GT50.

Plasmas will almost never look better in a retail environment, unless they are in a dedicated theater room. Bright lights tend to reflect on a Plasma's glass screen and wash-out the picture.

Also, how can anyone know if each set is calibrated properly? Chances are slim.

You can compare some features of a TV in showrooms, but not picture quality.

LCDs will almost always be brighter. Plasmas will almost always look dim and/or reflective.

If you can control the lighting in your room, Plasma has the best picture quality. You can't beat its black level and contrast unless you're looking at LCDs about 4X the price. Color tends to be superior as well.

If you have a bright room, just go with LCD.

If you have a controllable room, give heavy consideration to Plasma.

I don't disagree. Unfortunately, we watch a good bit of TV in our bedroom with the lights on. Having the ability to more "natively" interface with Plex is a huge bonus....now if OP could post the receipt or Fry's advertise the TV, we'd be in business!

How do you plan on price matching with amazon if the price still shows as 999 on Fry's? I am assuming we are all awaiting a receipt scan .....

great deal on the TV and the price i've been waiting for. Just wish I had a FRY's nearby. Repped anyway.

I went to fry's about two weeks ago and the price for this and the 47g2 ($799) was the same. Any chance the 47g2 dipped again?
