You gotta put a SSD in this thing, so that wouldn't discourage me one bit. The only downfall about this laptop is Windows 8, in my opinion.

Be aware of Lenovo's shipping.

Ordered a laptop at the end of November, finally got a confirmed delivery date for the 24th. They kept pushing the 'estimated' shipping date, started as the 7th, 13th, 18th, 21st, and then the 23rd - last one not making too much sense. You can find a lot of other customers who have issues with shipping on the Lenovo community forums. took some people over a month to receive their laptops - some were manufactured as orders came in.
