He was making that up. I do it all the time. The only time it's an issue is if it's an item the store doesn't regularly carry, sometimes the store won't give a RC (like special items on Black Friday).

Only someone that was aware that peelies, blinkies, and booklet coupons exist, would assume that they meant that. The more common sense assumption is that purchase and person was swapped. If they wanted that, they could have said, "one coupon per purchase" Limit 1 coupon per customer. Instead, they created wording where it could be argued that FOUR coupons should be able to be used on ONE product. FAIL.

Lol, I called corporate about the manager at a store refusing to write me a rain heck on Black Friday. No where in the ad did it say no rain checks. Corp called the store, I got my rain checks.

I thought about calling corporate but I would really hate for them to get mad and label me a troublemaker. I don't like making waves but I knew she was lying. This manager hates writing rain checks.

I do not post very often but I read these posts every day. I just want to thank all of you who are very talented and dedicated to these boards and supply such helpful information. I try to REP whenever I can. Truly appreciate your feedback and insight! You have all helped my family to get by on our wages and not be lacking any necessities!

PS--And a few days ago I posted about not receiving the $10 wyb $30 deal about the Treseme. I went and checked back through my receipts and surely met the purchase requirements. None of the bottles purchased were 25 oz (exclusions) OR clearance---they were all full price but only about $6.xx was tracking. I went back to the store today and spoke with the manager. She calculated my purchases and then printed a $10 ECB for me. All bottles were 32 oz and signed as part of the deal. Don't know what went wrong there but it was still a great deal after the coupons & peelies.

I got rain check for meter from my CVS.

I'm a CBS newbie relatively speaking, but I did read all the FAQ in that thread and have been following the deals for a while. However, I can't explain at all what happened tonight. In all the threads I've read, I've never seen anyone state that an ECB printed from the coupon machine. However, mine did just that tonight. It printed a $1.00 ECB good until 2/10/13. Does this just randomly happen from time to time? It was my third or fourth time scanning this week.

Sounds like the quarterly bucks. Beauty Bucks prints from the red machine at times, too, but has a two weeks expiration (and would be $5). I believe if you call into customer service, their "courtesy " bucks could also print from the red machine, but I haven't had to call in.

Hmm.. Well definitely not quarterly bucks. I've already printed those from the web and used them.

I did call customer service this week, but the CSR said she was going to ad a scan to my green bag tag count since the clerk at the store refused to scan it, believing the promotion was over. I haven't seen any additions to my green bag tag count so it could have been she gave me a courtesy ECB instead.

Actually, I don't think it's a quarterly one...those expire in 45 days, but this one expires in 30.

Does the ECB say what it is for? Ditto what Foladar said...have you called CS about anything? Dunno what else it could be.

You can get a raincheck. If you don't like the management in that store, maybe you could try another CVS. ( If there is one)

i have no idea but i asked my friend who works there and they say they can do it but its hard to explain. i got 2 rainchecks anyways but only 1 coupon left. hopefully ill find stock tomorrow.
