I haven't had any problems with Eagle Tech rebates in the paste. The quality of the their brand is pretty sub-par though.

Agreed, but they still sound better than most built-in speakers on budget Flat Panel TV sets. People always complain about how TCL and Vizio TV's have poor sound.... but these wouldn't be bad solution for free.

I would recommend the following:
A) Order these items as soon as possible if you're interested. TigerDirect has been known to play pricing games and jack things up when rebates are involved.
B) Fill out your rebate registration form after your order shows the following in your account center: "Reg Order Process - Credit Card Verification Done. Your order is in process at our warehouse.". If it shows "Pending Review", go ahead and fill out the registration form as well.
C) Enjoy your small Money Maker... don't spend it all in one place!

Give it 30 to 45 minutes (1 hour tops) and the order should be viewable within your TigerDirect Account by clicking on it.

If it is not, it may possibly be "rejected". This happens occasionally... and is one of the flaws of TigerDirect's ordering system.

If the order is rejected, you will not receive an e-mail confirmation, your card will have a temporary authorization that will fall off, and the order may not show up in your account center.

Haha, well for starters, I make back-up copies of all the documentation, and have them sorted into "Fulfilled" and "Unfulfilled" rebate folders.

When I receive a rebate I move it to the fulfilled folder.

As for keeping track of all the ones I haven't yet done, I have a notepad file where I make entries about what shipments I'm waiting on, when I receive items, when I mail out rebates, etc. I break it down by retailer (Fry's, TigerDirect, etc.).

As they come back to me, I remove them from the notepad file as well.

Here's what some sample notepad entries (for TigerDirect) look like:
Completed & Mailed:
$20 MIR Logitech Ultimate Ears 100 Earbuds (Jade Guitar) - Completed & Mailed on 12/06/12

Rebate Completed, But Not Mailed:

No matter how I try to check out, when I actually go to do the last step and place my order, it comes back and says that the item has been removed from my cart. Evidently they're out of stock even though it lets you put them in your cart???

I passed on these speakers during Black Friday due to shipping, but combined with the SIM card to cover the shipping and then some, I went for it. TigerDirect rebates have been reliable so far this year.

That's strange. Have you tried a different browser?

Usually when the item is OOS, it won't let you add it to the cart.

It will say NaN when you hit the add to cart button and it won't appear in your basket.

As of right now, I am still able to add both items to the cart. Whether you can checkout successfully... that's another story entirely.

You may want to try their sister sites (as they operate on different servers).
