my C260 came with label said "Now with High Def" 720p. So I think it's just a software update for that. the 310 does have true high def 720p.

Excellent deal! Been looking for a webcam w/ built in mic for a while now. This is a much better price than on both Amazon and Newegg!

I have this...get a real 720p cam. Quality isnt great. I just picked up the720p rocketfish from amazon for under ten bucks.

I can't even get rid of the Microsoft Lifecam's that were on sale that I purchased with Office Depot Rewards. I tried to get rid of them for cheap and nobody bites. I think webcams are becoming obsolete with Facetime and all. lol

what facetime? you can't do facetime with any pc computers. facetime is just among apple products. how much did you try to sell them for?

How is the mic for the c210? Do you have to be close for it to pick up your voice?

I've been using it for skype. Mic seems fine, I'm about arms length away from it. I initially bought it to use as a mic with the video being a 'nice to have', but then actually had a need for it. I've got a rocketfish 720p and a rocketfish 1080p, and the video between those is MUCH better than the video between this and either. Mic seems about equal on all of them.

I think among these web cams that originally sold for $35-50+, the mic's are all going to be pretty decent. But having bought 720p cams for less than this and 1080p's for <$20...
