I have tried a couple different kits, and I gotta say, this one did the best job. Still have to put in the time, but it comes out very nice. Not 'brand new' nice, but at least clear.

I always just wetsand my headlights , with 3 different grit papers . Then I apply a UV protective aerosol clearcoat and they look great .

Don't waste your time with the kits. Get some masking tape, a spray bottle of soapy water, some wetsand paper, and some plastic polish. Keep it wet, start out with rough paper and work your way to a fine paper such as 2000 grit. Polish the headlights and they'll look new.

^ you need to follow up with UV protectant and clear coat, otherwise your lights gonna look like crap 3 months later.
also dont overshave the housing. |

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I needed the horsepower of my drill (and this kit) to sand off all the damage on my 10-year-old covers. I could never have done it by hand. |

Has anyone tried these on cheaper acrylic covered solar panels? I have a few that have become rough and yellow and would like to try and renew them.
