BTW -- rebate form says "Original Cash Register Receipt" but since with Amazon that does not exist I suspect they should accept the Amazon email showing the order is on a specific date... for me, today Dec 23rd. Last edited by Livin; 12-23-2012 at 01:33 PM.. |

Another method I have used on many headlights for the detail savvy people is to use buffing compound either by hand or with an orbital polisher. You will need more aggressive compound if you are doing it by hand but this works on lights that aren't so bad that they need sanding. A light compound also works well if you need to touch them up every few months.

When rebates ask for an original cash register receipt and you order from Amazon, what do you send them? The shipping invoice that was in the box or do you print out your order from the Amazon orders page? I don't want to be declined for some technicality. |
