I bought the the Panny 60u54,and also the Samsung Plasma pn60e7000 and the the Samsung LED un60EH6000 all about 2 weeks ago and i am amazed by the PQ of the 60u54.I ran all 3 TVs side by side and the Panny is the overall best PQ of the 3.Compared to the Samsung plasma it's brighter even though the room has alot of windows.I was surprised that the reflections of the Panny in a fairly bright room wasn't really that bad.Compared to the LED the Panny does look dim but the PQ is much more like lfe like.Once I took the LED away and just looked at the Panny the dimness wasn't really noticeable because you focus on the overall accuracy of the PQ.The LED is being returned.

Now that i have broken the Panny in by keeping it on for 5 days straight on a premium movie channel with no constant logos running it looks even better - and no their isn't any IR from doing this.

Did getting it calibrated make much difference on the PQ on your 60u54 ?
