Dre beats solo $89.99 plus $20 gift card PM @ Best Buy

Got denied at best buy in Irvine, Ca after going through a hassle to get extra pairs from the back. Showed them the reciept pic and online website on my phone. Since they were out of stock, I was denied. Was so close.. Then I went to Target, and they said that they are only price matching Best Buy, Walmart, and some other stores that were NOT Staples. She said if I had the physical ad from Staples they would honor it, but not an online ad. I am going to try another Best Buy Target, then Nordstrom if I have to. I am determined damn it!!!!!! Stay tuned for an update later tonight...

SO.... after failing 2 times. I went to another BB. This time I printed out the Staples page with the headphones, and had the website at the ready in my phone. Walked in, got 2 pairs, no questions asked. They looked at the paper, and it was a done deal. Manager didnt mind at all, and even said, "Thats a good deal" I then asked him about the gift cards, and he said that it was a XMAS deal only, so no $20 GC, but dont care.

Then I decided, why stop there? I went into Nordstroms right after. Got 2 more pairs! P-Diddy lookin brother workin the register thought I was full of shit, and I showed him both ads. his manager came up and said," Do it, I dont give a shit!" Cashier then says, Can I get 2 pair for this price? Manager says NOPE! hahahahha
Never back down Slick Dealers....NEVER.

I gatta say, I read lots of mixed reviews, and I own multiple headphones. The sound is very crisp and powerful (stress tested), and most importantly, they are COMFORTABLE! All my other headphones really hurt my ears after 4+ hours of use. So far, these feel great. I ended up giving a pair away as a gift and am going to sell the other 2 pair I got. Ebay listings are going strong for $160+, so should be able to make some money.

Do you know if this is still a valid deal? I am thinking about going to my local Target or Best Buy but I'm afraid that they will turn me down cause it says Solo and not Solo HD. I know I should try but is this something they will likely recognize?

lol @ people hating on Beats. Recently, I worked with a huge retail chain which sold Beats products and customer's could'nt stop talking about how much they loved their Beats headset. The only people that I see consistently talk negative about this product is on this site.

OP....mixing Beats and a YMMV in the same sentence was doom to begin with.

Didn't work for me, manager saw it was out of stock and said can't do it.

Dre Beats are good to have if you are just following the trend just to have one. That being said, I have both Tours and Solos and they are both POS garbage earbuds/headphones. I like my Sennheinsers and Audio Technica much better than the beats.

I agree, comfort and bass are very good on these headphones. Quality of the sound is where I distance myself from them.

Just successfully picked up a red pair and a blue pair at the Coral Springs, FL Best Buy. The girl who was helping me couldn't believe the price even though she did say another worker told her about a customer coming in last night for the same deal, they were denied though. Thanks op for this sweet deal. Can't believe it honestly.
