I was at two Metro Detroit Home Depot stores (Madison Heights and Troy) and both had a the RIDGID 3,300 psi 3 GPM Gas Pressure Washer for $299 in-store (was $749) YMMV. I would have purchased one but picked up a Homelite pressure washer last year.
EDIT - Added Inventory Checker but I have to say your results may vary as both stores metro Detroit Home Depot stores (Madison Heights and Troy, MI) that I was at today had at least the display model. You may even be able to negotiage a lower price on a display model if a part(s), manual and etc. is missing. Then call the manufacturer to indicate you purchased a display model that had missing part(s) and ask that they send you replacement part(s).
EDIT 12/26 - Picked up one at Conference,MI (last one)for $250+tax (missing nozzle kit and wand extender to which they offered 50% of assessories) that still was marker $750. Sales clerk just about fell over.
EDIT 12/26 - Called Ridgid while I was in store to ask if they replaced missing accessories and they said they did not on display models. So you will need to work with the store manager on additional discounts.

They now have one in the box and the display. One of the boxes had been opened so I took the sealed one. I decided to buy now while I can still get one and return it within 90 days if I change my mind. I didn't have a coupon, but I figured I can do a return and re-buy if I get a coupon.
The engine has electronic fuel injection which is very unusual for a small engine.

It wasn't worth another 45 minutes arguing for me but maybe someone else is more skilled at the art of the deal.
I called the store this morning to confirm the stock and price. Immediately drove the 30 miles this AM and picked one up. The inventory checker showed only 2 in stock at the Canal Winchester Ohio Home Depot and 1 at another location in central Ohio. At check out the guy who helped me load it said they sold the other one 10 minutes before me, because he loaded it in a truck.
The checkout girl gave me some grief about the Lowe's 10% off coupon I purchased this morning for $3. When I protested a little, another manager intervened and said it was okay.
Nice Power Washer for $287 out the door.
Edit in hopes of being helpful to someone: The other one that the inventory checker said was available in central Ohio was at the Westerville Ohio store.

I called 10-15 stores this morning and found one that had a display model that was almost completely there. The only main thing it was missing were the nozzle tips, which the guy threw in a new pack off the shelf. He said the couple other minor things it was missing I could call Ridgid and they would send them out. Only one store did I find one in a box, which I got also. Not sure what I am going to do with the display model one.

In my calling around, I had a manager tell me the same thing when I inquired about giving a discount for one missing some pieces. They said they wouldn't give a discount because they would have to eat it.
The 20% Harbor Freight coupon is a tougher sell, but usually the manager will allow it if you are buying something more expensive. So just bring both, just in case.

By the time I got there the floor model was the only one left, and there was a guy from Iowa that had dibs. He found one and bought it over the phone from his local HD in Iowa, and I got the floor model.
Turns out they had the smaller unit out in the garden center, which we had to pilfer the wand and nozzles from, but I got a complete unit.
Thanks OP and Thank you local MN person that directed me to HD at the Quarry, and good to meet you Iowa guy!!
