thanks - that's what i've heard. k-9 looks good, but wont work with 2010. i tried TD a while ago, and loved it... but it's too expensive

Well, it is expensive. But if you are going to use it everyday, you will not regret the price... I had tried it for a month and uninstalled it after my trial expired. Have set a price watch for that on AppSales but no luck yet... I would be all over it for $9.99...

I find dungeon raid surprisingly addictive x.X;; good deal for me. Thx OP

some new apps were added to the list on 12/27...

On a related subject...
Several months ago I uninstalled all of the "free" Amazon Appstore apps on our phones...
Our battery life was poor, and phones were running sluggishly...
I eventually traced both issues... and solved by uninstalling as described...
so at least through that source... free isn't FREE...

Just having the apps on your phone wouldn't be what was causing your problem other than if you were short on memory or some of the apps were launching and running.

From time to time I check what is running on my phone. I check if there are any programs that chose to put themselves in running memory that I hadn't launched, and if so, I remove them. Otherwise having the apps on your phone doesn't really matter, and it doesn't matter whether they came from Amazon, Market, or 3rd party.

Just rebooting might have solved your problem. If your phone is short of memory, then app2sd or something similar might be of value to you, but Amazon was NOT the blame for your issue.
