If it really is $50, I think that's pretty pricy for some a limited program function. You'd probably be better off buying Nero 12 Platinum at Frys (for $9.99 AR w/ upgrade, $29.99 AR without upgrade rebate). It has a lot more features and the ability to transcode into several different formats (.mp4, .mpeg2, .avi, etc.)

I'm not a big movie ripper, if I do copy something, it's disc to disc (Blu-ray to BD-R, DVD to DVD+R) using the tools I previously mentioned.

It's perpetual demo. After the expired time, you just need to re-register or re-download.
You say I need another program but that's where Handbrake comes in. That's all I was using DVDFab HD Decrypter for, merely to remove copy protection and rip the main movie off of the disc into MP4. I was not paying for the full version of DVDFab, just the decrypter/ ripper which is always free. I did not it to transcode. So to me, MakeMKV and DVDFab HD are doing the same job.

I was filling out the rebate form for this at 4myrebate.com and when I got done, I didn't see anything to print out and attach UPC. Am I correct in assuming that there is nothing to mail in with this rebate or did I do something wrong?

There is a rebate form that you're supposed to sign and mail in along with the upc and a copy of the invoice

I tried DVDFab HD Decrypter since it's the only free BD ripping tool that I know of and it installed fine and is easy to use, but it's extremely slow. I have a fast computer (i7-3770K) and a modern BD burner, but it's literally copying the files at 0.38 MB/s. WTF?! I guess AnyDVD HD is much better that you recommended, but it costs $.
