i think panasonic menus are some of the most retarded out there. i don't understand why these tv/media player manufacturers don't outsource this shiet to google or microsoft

One area the BDT220 sucks in is the file formats supported though which is where they get bad marks. They do not support xvid or divx and I think a few others, which is unfortunate. |

Purchased this from amazon for 79.99 around Black Friday. Connected to wifi right out of the box and was streaming Netflix and YouTube videos within seconds. Didn't have a problem with the menus and love the remote. Has direct buttons straight to Internet, Netflix, Skype etc. great price on a great player

Ah damn I got this refurbished for $58 from Cowboom to try getting around cinavia but if it doesn't read divx or xvid files I got it for nothing. Well at least the picture quality will be better I had a Panasonic BDT100 and the picture quality was always the best out of the Samsung I had and the Sony I have now. Only reason I sold that one was because it didn't do DLNA. I guess I'm going to end up leaving my Sony S580 connected afterall. I will use this one for watching actual movies from disk and the Sony for streamed xvid/divx content without cinavia protection. |

well the deal is no longer active but I have a question. I stream my videos (xvid, mp4, etc) from my computer to downstairs via ps3. Could I achieve the same things with this unit? I was thinking of picking this up for my non-HDMI tv in the bedroom and streaming media there.
