Any comments on long wear comfort and sound/mic quality?

Does anyone know if you can stack coupons?

These headphones get good reviews. I had forgot about the half off code, and since you reminded me I can blame you for buying the Plyr and Slyr sets. Not bad 105 shipped for both.

I already own Tritton AX Pros and the Astro A50's too.

I went with the plyr 2 since they are wireless and the savings are good.

I wish the plyr 1 was out, apparently it was supposed to be out Fall 2012 and now is not out until March 2013. They are going to have simulated surround which can be a little better, but I haven't tried that yet.

Stereo works absolutely fine in any shooter with good sound, such as Cod4-Black Ops. Apprently Black Ops 2 has some perk requirements for it to be of much use though. Edit: Beyond battlechatter, which has been there since WaW, and also has counter-perks. It's kind of odd how battlechatter is unique to Treyarch. Not that IW is actually a competitor anymore.

I got the SLYR when the redbull50 coupon first came out. When using them for my PC, I prefer to connect them directly to my PC via the 3.5mm plug instead of using the USB amp thing because there seems to be a slight hiss if you have the volume up and there are quiet parts in what you're watching. Also I find the EQ on the USB thing to be slightly too bass heavy for things like TV Shows, but sound perfectly fine for video games. Some games actually sound super weird with headphones on cause you can hear so much more.

For PC use please note you can't use this AND your speakers at the same time (or at least I haven't found a way with Windows 7 when using the headphones via the USB amp). You can quickly change between the headset or your speakers by just going to your Control Panel -> Sound -> Playback tab and just select the Skullcandy Slayer and click the Set Default button. If a program is already outputting audio you might have to restart that program.

I didn't really try it much for the XBox360, but for the couple minutes I did try, the way my setup is, I couldn't get the voicechat volume to go higher than my game volume. (I actually have the SLYR connected to my PC and have a 3.5mm cable coming out of my monitor that connects to my PC's input,) My cousin did tell me that the SLYR mic made me sound deeper than my official Microsoft headset.

I haven't stretched them out by putting them between books or w/e overnight. For comfort, I've been able to wear them for an hour straight and haven't had any problems. You do notice they are kinda tight against your head but not so much you need to take them off. The velvet material is nicer than the usual pleather that companies use. I wish the Mic was able to be brought down to a lower angle.
