I got this at Costco and it works very well for $29.
When did you pick this up at Costco, hoping my local one has it.

Got it about 2 years ago at the Costco in San Diego, Moreno Valley Blvd. one. If you can't find them at your Costco, Home Depot carries them too.

can we take out the flow restrictor from any showerhead including this one?
Yes you can, I always take it out of any shower head I buy. On the end that connects to the wall, you will see the small green flow restrictor. Needle nose pliers and a firm tug take care of that problem!

Not always green though. Generally looks like a rubber washer.

C'mon people, if you're gonna provide recommendations to other showerheads, can you at least choose ones which are comparable to this one, i.e., with hand held capabilities!

The rubber washer is to ensure a good seal around the threads without having to use plumbing tape. The flow restrictor is green and made out of plastic. I've removed them from several shower heads from varying brands and they are all the same.

The one I removed recently was made of rubber and was black....
