The deal is yours, yes.. but the wiki belongs to all users. The wiki is not just for information that the OP of any deal wants to be there. It is for all users to add and share what is hopefully relevant information, whether that information proves a deal to be a bad one, or helps to prove that it's a good one.

As for copying an Amazon review, if it's relevant, it's fine since it was credited as such. Making stuff up would not be relevant, true. But that may just be what hers felt like or looked like or performed like and not something that she 'made up'. And as you see, other users already stated that this item is aluminum. So now both opinions are out there for all users to see, and make their own decisions about. And that is one of the things that wikis are for, to help users decide.

Yeah, I only added that information to appease her because it was clear that we were going to keep playing the "wiki wiping" game all night, where I delete her comment, she deletes mine and so forth.

All of that is beside the point... considering the freakin' item was Free After Rebate, just like this one is. If you don't like it, shut up and move on. Don't pollute a Wiki just because a deal doesn't suit you. I rarely see Selma comment on any thread, even her own, but find it interesting how the one or two times I do... it's something negative in my thread.
